Executive Director
Lucie lives and works in the beautiful Berkshires; working primarily in cut paper, photography, and installation, which she often combines. She graduated from Mount Holyoke College with a BA in Art History and Education. Lucie draws inspiration from medical drawings, animal skull and bone samples, and architectural remains. Peeling back exteriors shows that in the end, we all have the same foundations.

Ceramics Studio Manager
Jared is a vessel overflowing with love, energy and enthusiasm. For him, leading the Ceramics department involves creating a fun, infectious and inclusive atmosphere. He is an expert in finding creativity in people who believe they have none. Jared has exhibited his work and taught workshops and classes throughout the country and has been a resident artist at several nationally recognized art centers and studios. He has an MFA in Ceramics from Indiana University and a BFA in Ceramics from Maine College of Art.

Community and Youth Engagement Coordinator
Brielle brings the art studio straight to Berkshire County’s K-12 classrooms with IS183’s Learning Through Arts program. She graduated with a BA from MCLA where she studied Art and Arts Management. After an internship at Kidspace at MASS MoCA, Brielle began her journey at IS183 with a B-HIP internship in 2011, and has since helped cultivate IS183’s mission under various titles. After a brief stint in sunny CA at the Harker School, she couldn’t stay away from the artsy charm of the Berkshires. Brielle also serves as an IS183 Faculty Artist. When not at work, Brielle enjoys making her own art, hula hooping, and spending time with her magical duo of cats, Lola and Bean.

Marketing Coordinator
Carrie Wright is a Berkshire born native working and living with her growing family. She graduated from Colorado Institute of Art with a Commercial & Fine Art Photography degree. Carrie has been curating and marketing in and around the Berkshires for several years. Carrie runs Marketing and is a Faculty Artist for IS183 Art School of the Berkshires. “More is more and less is a bore.” -Iris
