Puppetry Workshop

Ever wonder how those puppets you see on television and in movies are made? In this class I teach you the secrets to building your own foam patterned hand puppet and all the materials, elements, and skills that go into making them look so real and lifelike. We will also learn fundamentals to creating a character through the use of color, texture, different materials, and movement, as well as how to manipulate your puppet to bring your character to life. We will also learn a new style of using silicone to create a “skin” on your puppets. No previous puppetry skills needed, just your imagination and creativity.
