Clay plays such a key role in the art world right now! Artists from every medium are incorporating clay into their work. This class is for students, working in any medium and at any skill level, to come discover the possibilities of clay. We will begin with an introduction to artists and ideas that stand at the forefront of the art world, and then explore clay through basic and advanced clay working techniques. Demonstrations and one-on-one assistance will guide creations. Curiosity, different materials or found objects welcome. We will work together in a relaxed and nurturing atmosphere to move ideas and skills forward! This class includes open studio time.
