Intensive! The Alternative Vessel

This intensive, hands-on, week of exploration will up-end any ideas you might have of what a vessel "should" look like. We will experiment with scale, breaking up the form, and playing with the surface as we approach the concept and creation of receptacles in truly innovative ways. This workshop is designed for those with some ability to manipulate and make forms on the wheel who are ready and curious to break conventions and develop their personal stylistic imprint. We will work mostly on the wheel, developing multiple ideas over the course of the week. Some glazing techniques will be discussed, but expect to glaze your pieces during open studio time after the workshop has ended. Includes access to open studio time for duration of class. Take 10% off this class if you finalize your registration 3 or more weeks before the start date.
