Intro to Felting

Felting is one of the oldest known fiber arts in the world and one of the most versatile, vibrant, magical mediums. We will explore a myriad of ways, traditional and innovative, to work with wool as we create colorful and unique felted works of art. Approaches covered will include wet felting, felting over a form, Nuno felting on silk, needle-felted paintings and sculptural pieces. A great series of evenings for anyone curious about felting or artists in need of some colorful wooly inspiration.
