Plywood Possibilities

Consider the possibilities of plywood as a substrate on which to make art. Carve into the surface, roll ink on it and make a print. Gesso and sand it for a sturdy portable painting surface. Use it as a raw surface for ink or aniline dyes. Or combine techniques to carve paint, dye and sand the surface. We will experiment with different grades of plywood to create permutations of all of these ideas
