Comics and Characters

This class is for anyone interested in developing their narrative illustration skills. We will look at how comics, picture books and graphic novels depict characters and use other illustration techniques to develop the story. Turning to our own work, we will create a sequence of short narrative pieces in different formats, either creating new characters or using existing ones. The goal is to go deeper into character, story, and the power of presentation, and improve our illustration skills in the process. All levels of illustrators welcome!
