Playwriting for Theater Lovers

This short class will explore the unique storytelling method of the theater, uncovering some of the structure, techniques, and behind-the-scene secrets that bring plays to life on stage. We will alternate between discussing existing plays and trying our hand at developing authentic characters and dialogue in short writing exercises. For writers and novices alike, this class will get you in the right place for a summer of theater experiences and writing lively stories.
