For the past 10 years, IS183 Art School's Learning Through Arts (LTA) after-school program has brought professional teaching artists directly to Berkshire County's K-12th grade classrooms, transforming the program sites into art studios, and sharing their passion for the visual arts through dynamic mixed-media projects.

The showcase will represent each of LTA’s program sites including nine schools across the Berkshires: Crosby Elementary School, Richmond Consolidated School, Lee Elementary School, Craneville Elementary School, Silvio O Conte Community, Morningside Community School, Theodore Herberg Middle School, Montessori School of the Berkshires, and Drury High School. The opening reception will be held on February 15, 2018 from 5-7pm at the Lichtenstein Center for the Arts (28 Renne Ave., Pittsfield) and will remain on view until February 26. The art exhibit will be part of Pittsfield's 10x10 Upstreet Arts Festival.
